You won't get any more noise from the Forge DV than the OE one as it works in a similar way.
LC's and LCR's have a cold air intake anyway so not much more work. Unless of couse he has made a custom air intake somewhere else.

agree 99%... i notced my forge DV was 1 or 2% louder than the OE bosch one (on a completely standard engine bar the DV obvuously!)

someone needs to tell my forge 007 cause its a noisey fooker always has been, remapped is louder, but even as standard it was noticeable in and out of the car.

i dont drink - so taking him out for beers is out of the Q!! lol

just outta curiosity - i have heard it before...but how do you get the windows to go up by themselves on the LC if you realise you have left them open after gettign out of the car??

someone said hold the lock button down but i cant get it to work:confused:

Was that on with no other mods just swapping the Bosch for Forge?

@Wazo you can get the climate control to show you all sorts of info - try searching for "climate control display".

wazo - go to my website and look at the links page - in there is the link for all climate control "secret menu" stuff.... :)

si, yea it was a lot more distinct after though obviously it got louder/higher pitch when remapped. the tip and induction kit make it noticeable though as the airbox acts as a sound baffle, i never used the std airbox with it so this is probably why so many people moan about the lack of noise, the induction kit is just a bit of gauze or sponge which is direct through to the dv so hasnt got the barriers that the airbox provides.
