Well this update has been a while coming but its finally here.
The lack of update I blame on the birth of my first baby daughter
and although ive done a few bits and bobs here and there the only main thing thats happened was that it passed its MOT...only failing the first time on pads, bulbs and being to low..
anyways....
finally got the arse end on it sorted. Its by far my favorite part of the car. Now sporting a full set of VR6 lights...at last !!
and some fresh pics from today..

I know its running alot lower than my mk2 is but I never got anything on my MOT certificate saying a lowering kit had been fitted or that.

I think it depends on the MOT Station, Craig.
I checked the previous MOT's certs and there was no mention of it and it was running 45 profile fronts last time so was a bit lower.
Really must get my winter wheels on....the Turbines are starting to look tired.

Although its giving some frozen lock issues in the mornings...its taking me 15 minutes to get into the thing.

this sounds very interesting and have always liked this car! looks well tidy with those lights on the back, mind you the whole thing looks well smart!!
The PD 150 maybe a bit to much work...
the gttdi 115 bhp lump maybe the better option due to the ventos tracing paper like break set up...

The thing is this Vento wont ever win any awards..unless i poor thousands into it. which i just cant do.
It will for ever be a work in progress i think....the best i can hope for is to keep it straight and as clean as possible.
Hopefully 2011 will see the addition of a 5 door golf vr6 leather interior and some bbs RxII's
