I looked at your sig and thought you had fitted a bloody great rear spoiler to the Vento.

Then notices (when I'd woken up) that it was part of the rear wall brick colouring!

SLR's with HD video are starting to be phased in, so wait until they do a really good one at entry level. Seeing your a Panasonic man, you don't fancy the Lumix G1 hybrid?

I know nothing about them really mate, only just started reading up on them but will probably go second hand first rather than spend big on one i dont know how to use.

oh well, brought a splitter today for the vento. Only a CL one but should take the edge off the bottom of the bumper.

ha, no worries mate, thanks for the link. It is good to see it again and it does look like the lad have taken care of it and maybe give it a wheel refurb.

Not running a splitter at the moment as the lad before was getting through a VR one a month.....these ones are more like little reverse lips, should look good.

I normally have college on a wednesday but am off next week. Thinkng of hitting COV with Ollie / skot / dubbedout ect if you fancy it.

Those cars are awesome. I love the Golf cab. Red and white theme works really well. Im tempted to go for that now.

Your Vento is awesome aswell mate. Dont know how you can drive it that low, I had to raise mine as I was getting rubbing with my wheels.

Any more plans for the vento??

Dan if Id had the money when you sold your valver I would have taken your arm off for it. And the 4,5,6 hour drive each way would have been so worth it.

as for stripey lights old skool i rememeber doin black then blue then green on many a mk2 cavalier - lol

Thanks so much for the comments guys. I am loving driving it and owning it.

I tend to steer clear of Speed bumps and pot holes and swapping from 45 profile to 50 has really helped. 5mm doesnt seem like alot but it feels ten times higher.

Next up is some interior DIY mods, I am looking for old hawian shirts and will be using the material to cover parts of the trim giving the inside a beach theme. Also on the look out for roof bars and a broken surf board.

Also by me there is a lake come resi that they have drained after something like 150 years so popped up to have a look. Bit strange to see it really..use to go up there when i was 14 with my mates when bunking off school. <_<

No mate i didnt...I am supprised its still going the way he drives it. I just tend to rock back now. I havnt been tempted yet into any silly behaviour by any chavs....not yet anyway. Its hard to in the jetta....it just makes you so happy would be a shame to get angry in it.

There were lots of knobs pulling into the turning as i was leaving and did spot a few panda cars around.
