driving home - mate behind me said you've got smoke coming out of exhaust when I put my foot down -

My friend blipped the accelerator didn't notice anything until revs got higher and a small black puff of smoke and some popping -

done a log(block 20) and noticed under load they were hitting about 5-7 average on all four -

plugs have been changed so thinking all 4 coil packs need changing? as they havnt been before (not to my knowledge) - car is on 64,000 -

thing is, dont notice any juddering when im driving - doesnt go in to limp mode - doesnt feel as quick as it should be, only by the slightest(could be my imagination) - no unusual noises

read a few other threads but they included funny noises and poor performance -

cheers!

Wouldn't worry about a puff of black smoke mate. Just the mixture richening up when you boot it. Most turbo cars do this in my experience, mine included.

just abit concerned as none of my mates(when they driving behind me) have noticed before -

but then again, why would they be staring at my exhaust pipe - lol

another thing is ive just spoke to him again, and he mentioned that it looked slightly blue - which im not to impressed about after reading what others have said about blue smoke - lets hope his eye sight was bad -

any symptoms i should look for just in case....

also, on the log(block 20) i did - why they went as high as 7 on load on all four cylinders

thanks
