Question. The noise the boc,cupra, fr makes !!!!

Hi again. sorry to keep asking questions all the time. Getting a BOC just want to find out as much as i can before i get it . The sound in the cabin is great, dose that come from the engine !!!!!!! or the exhuast . i have read somewhere that there is an amplifier, that boost the sound. it be great if there was a dial that you could turn the level up ( oh baby that would be great)

It is amplified yep and there are setting for it in diagnostics somewhere so i'm told. Not found them myself yet.

to me it don't sound like it comes from the back end, but from engine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am also interested in this but from the other direction!
I would like to turn the extra noise off so it is more like the FR.

Beter still would be if you fit a switch so that you had the chioce.

I read somewhere that the Cupra/Boc had an electronic valve in
the exhaust to give the louder noise. If so this must be possible
switch - or take the relevant fuse out???

It is very quiet when driving round normaly. It only makes a growle when you push it. The engine would sound pretty weak without it! Very revy. At least with the exhaust note it give it a little base.

Hopefully an airfilter of some sort will bring out the sound from the chargers. As it is I can't hear the supercharger
