I recently purchased the 2007 Ibiza 1.4 16vSport and was wondering if there was any point in buying mudflaps?

The dealer has said I could have them for £60 fitted, but i've seen so many cars recently with out them.

What do you guys think .. yay or nay?

I have them fitted to my 56 ibiza DAB, they do help with the dirty water marks up the side & the rear really help with the back windscreen (before i fitted the rear 1's my rear end was constantly manky!).

Buy them & fit them urself very easy to do!

They are easy to fit , best with a stubby screw driver or easiest to remove rear wheels. Cost around £44 the set anyhow. If you can`t be bothered to fit em yourself in this cold weather the dealer seems to be fitting them pretty cheap to me:think:

I've got mud flaps on the front of my Ibiza (lowered) and never had them scrub on the road. The rear sits quite high even with lowered suspension (unless you've got coilies) so can't imagine you'd have problems there either.
