can you get a quick shift for the 6 speed 1.9 tdi cars ?

been on the forge web site and there's says

( Please note: this does not fit the Skoda Fabia/ VW Polo / Seat Ibiza or 1.9 diesel applications)

so that wont fit.

want to fit one to go with my re-map i have just had done.

ps. if you get a re-map get a clutch aswell( mine started slipping next
day after re-map :D )

some may say lala land....
old topic alert i'm afraid.
found some spare cash under the sofa and thinking of getting on.
this was 2nd hit in the search and title seemed to say it all.

So,
Is Forge the way to go or JBS or a.n.other?

thoughts and pointers appreciated

some may say lala land....
not keen on my own work for that kinda job.
def a purchase.

the description in the link by cupra-rich seems to be very similar to that by forge. item also looks acrily similar, but i'm guessing design will not b much different though.
i only say this as price difference is huge.

Anyone got a guide of how to do it and what kind of pins and bolts do I need etc?? Where do I get them from. Also how do I remove the shifter from the gearbox :)

You lift up the clip and then slide it off (hold onto it tight) then the cable can be removed.
Remove the nut holding the "shifter" down and then pull it off.
If it won't come off you can use a puller.
When off you need a bolt to go through the hole iirc it was an 8mm and also a nut and a locknut.
