raceland coilovers noob question

no they will still go down about 20+mm..thats with the cups in, im just letting it settle down..... still geting the creaking tho

Cheap coilovers = creaking.

I'm still getting mine weeks after I fitted my crappy ones.

No idea what the noise is!

yes cant have it all ways cheap+chearfull!!...think my problem with the creaking is there rubing on the top bearing .gona take a look at weekend ,have you got the same coils?

first time iv fitted coilovers so go easy lol..my question is ,on the rear ones does the hight adjuster that comes with the kit sit on the bottom of the spring or does it go on top of the spring? ..just want to make sure of things before i start doing the job tomorrow..thx

The adjuster goes on the bottom, with the little brass bit clamped underneath to keep them from moving.

The creaking will be because the springs have not been dyno tested as rigorously as more expensive models, so they have a lot of adjustment to do.

You can take the rear cups off but be sure the springs are sitting flat against the bottom before you drop the car or you can strip the threads from the other half of the cup and then you cant get the adjusters back on.
