Right. Well they still have sorted that out then for Seat / Cupra then. It will use the descriptor of the unit plus the presence of the SE in that manifest file. It's a lot like the old VW POI input process where the unit needed to be recognised. There are still missing UK ones in it from the Troc report and Briskoda so it might not have helped. A design floor in not allowing users to update the radio images with their own png / jpegs as mib2. In the original documentation but never implemented.

I reckon basically if the radio logo image is in the phonostar radio internet bouquet 💐 as they call them it will be in the car's system file, but if not it wont be. They wont have done anything special to manufacture that file. They just leave off the Seat / Cupra unit descriptor which is a separate issue. It was in once. Probably the connect services passage of the logos doesnt use the same import protocol so get's written directly into memory. Siesta time in HQ.
