cheers boys, was going to take it to a local garage. they said that on a gti 2.0 8v they might have to change the rear hub cos you can't buy the bearing seporate? thinking that this isn't true, has anyone heard of this befre?
my golf mk2 had drums, and was simply a tapperd bearing held in by one split pin and one large nut.. if its that easy on my beeza with discs your sorted.
well it was 2, but one came out and the other was on the drum wasnt it? i cant remember, but yeh its a DIY jobbie just dont over tighten then or youll crush then, the best thing to do is handtighten the nut, then a nats **** more with a short rachet, then back it off so theres a lil bit of "play"

not a bad price. however you can get the from euro parts seperate. in a bearing kit. do you get a new end cap an split spin and seal in these pre pressed ones?
