rear windows

lol just noticed that my car's rear windows don't open, was this an optional extra or sumat??

3 doors don't have electric rear windows but some cars have the pop out type like my old petrol SE but my FR dosen't

thats what i meant davels, the pop out ones. I thought they were standard on 3 doors was all. Must not be as that chap don't have on his FR

yeah I was shocked about that too

pop out windows on my old 3 door mk3 1.6 sport

none on my 3 door fr

must be coz there to quick. and they'll act like air brakes if opened when moving

they were useful in the summer for extracting the heat from the interior with little or no wind noise

the old pugs used to have cable operated ones by the handbrake

wonder if they can be retrofitted, do the sports have them as they seem to have everything else ?

nah mine just dont open no poping out either, but hey driver side window anyone in the back can cook

I have the little pop out efforts on my little SE. They do work suprisingly well when it is quite hot for anyone sat in the back.

I got em - although mine is face lift FR.

im near enough sure the pre-facelift FR's did not have pop-out windows, although i could be wrong.

They were always in ETKA, I was under the impression they were Euro spec

It's another thing which seems to come and go like the boot light/glovebox light/third sunvisor etc.
