Hey

Bought myself a X reg Cupra last week and the rear wiper doesn't work.

Ive searched through the forum but couldn't find anything that could help.

Has any1 any ideas what i could do to try and make it work?

If not i will have to remove it but would like to keep it really.

Thanks for your help

Chris

Ok will check the fuse and if thats no good will pop to halfrauds and get a 25mm bung and remove the wiper.

Off the top of your head what fuse number is the rear wiper?

Thanks

Remove the boot lining and check the cables, I left mine unplugged by accident! I've removed it now as we shouldn't be needing it this time of year.

Oh and if u do remove it make sure u either block off the end of the fluid hose from the boot...or take it off from the washer bottle in the engine bay just incase u knock it by accident...

All removed now ive taken pics aswell so will make a guide later on to help any1 that hasnt done this yet.

1 last thing any pics of what pipe i need to remove in the engine bay to stop the water going to the back by mistake? I have bunged it up but want to be double safe.

just remove one and try the front washer if it doesnt work then you removed the wrong one if it does then your all fine and dandy...:)

Also a tip to stop some of the boot rattles get 2 normal car washing sponges and cut them in half then wedge them in the little holes that you need to remove to access the rear bulbs in the boot.
