Pull the cap off, then use a spanner to take the Bolt off and then pull, it might need a bit of WD40 on it.

To remove the whole thing and bung the hole, you'll need to take off the boot lid trim inside to access the wiper bolts. There's a few screws you'll need to undo. A couple around the catch at the bottom, a couple behind the light clusters, and one in the grab handle. There may be others that I've forgotton but thats the general gist of things. Once you've undone the bolts, you'll need to pull at the trim faitly hard. You'll more than likely break a few clips in the process unfortunately as the trim is a pretty tight fit. A new one isn't too costly from the dealers though :)

I thought about removing it but too scared. I usually wax the rear window. Does the job of keeping water off it. Nice and clean.

Just done mine and used a 25mm grommett i bought from Halfrauds for £1.69 and it fitted perfect.

superb cheers mate ill "find" one in work tomorrow then just like to have all what I need to do the job before I start so can do it all tidy there and then.
