Rear wishbone replacement

How big a job is a rear wishbone replacement ?

One of my rear wheels is slightly out of spec on camber and toe and despite being told that the rear beam is probably bent I'm thinking the wish bone is far more likely to have bent rather than the beam itself. I've just found a site quoting £30 + VAT for a rear wisbone with all the bushes (which surprised me to be honest I was expecting it to be far more expensive) so I was wondering if anyone here had any idea what kind of labour costs would be involved to repace it.

I can't see it being that complicated to be honest. Surely just remove wheel/discs then remove wishbone and replace??

Wishbone? No such thing on the rear.

I understand it's possible to jiggle the rear beam and get it back in spec, but it depends how far out it is. Find a really good alignment place - where are you?

It might be the stub axle that's bent.

oh well that's that idea out the window then.

I live in north london.

I can't recall the figures now but the alignment guy told me not to worry about it as it wasn't even enough to affect tyre wear. I'd just like to get it sorted if I can purely for peace of mind. That is if it isn't going to cost a fortune to do that is.

changing a bent rear beam for new is like a grand....

buying a 2nd hand one is pointless, as that could be more bent!

They are for the front, i brought a complete back axle off a 55 plate leon a little while ago for £75.00, came from www.nsec.co.uk.
