Hi all, i went to check up on the Cupra 16v last night (its currently got 17" black Wolfrace Alloys On!) and looked at the standard 16" white wheels which are off the car at the mo.

Anyway, i noticed one of the wheels has took a bit of a blow to the side and is missing a slight chunk - when i say chunk its more like a REALLY bad scuff, the wheels not buckled etc.

Will i be able to get these refurb'd!!!

I want to go back to the standard wheels so the 17" will be up for grabs! new tyres etc etc.

I'll get some pics up asap.

Cheers :D

other people who have had alloys refurbished have been quoted around £50 a corner, but for some reason I was told the white ones need additional treatment to get them looking right, so that they'd be around £100 each - I figured that for that sort of money it really wasn't worth it - unless you were deperate to keep it looking completely standard when decent 16" rims can be got for only a little over that...

Cheers for the replys boys.

Ive been doing a wee bit of reading on this forum and came across a Kiwi Green Cupra running on 16" Compomotive MO's! They look sweet.

Think i'll have to get me self a set of them!

Cheers

Yeah, the OE ronals were never good wheels at all.

Mk3 20VT rims also worth a look, they update the Mk2 very nicely
