Hey all just got my hands on a remapped ecu (240 bhp apparently) the guy who had it was running a ko3s turbo warlbro fuel pump and fmic. My car is standard apart from Jetex cone air filter super sprint cat back(middle box taken out) and forge dump valve should I still see a good increase? Maybe 200 bhp?

That ECU will ask more boost than your turbo can give.
It will also aks for more fuel than your injectors and FPR can give.
So i think this is a bad idea.
However, your car should be much faster than standard if it doesnt go into limp mode.

Not a good idea then? If I was to fit the ecu and run the car would it blow the turbo or would fail safe/ limp home mode cut in if it senses to much pressure?

That was my old ecu the guy that sold it you bought it from me and never fitted it so I can tell u the exact mods my car had if you like mate

It wont sense too much pressure because your turbo is to small and there wont be enough pressure, especially not too much pressure.

That would be good dale wot were you runnin? Is it worth fitting the ecu or
And trying it or just sell it on again?

i had it custom mapped on my mk3 at GR in rotherham
i was running a forge tip ,green cotton open filter, 2.5" decat exhaust ,k03s and a universal Fmic

it was standard injectors and 3bar fpr so thats not a problem and the fuel pump was only upgraded at the time as mine was getting tired

tbh id save it and get those mods over time then fit everything together and maybe pay for an hours rolling road and map adjust to get it perfect

(altough iv sold 4 stage 2 ecu's in the last 6 months and got £150-£160 for them so theres some profit in it)

EDIT... and a 007p aswell
