removing aerial

i have a mk4 ibiza cupra how the hell to u take the aerial off so i cam put a smaller one on

Said this many times im sure, Twist till compleatly lose... 1 hand on base of ur roof.. One had on the areial give it a wobble 2 ea side then give it a big manly tough! Its simple bud i was 2 scared a first.. but now its off.. Its an easy job! Untwist- Wobble left and right (Fair distance) - Pull up with one hand on base HARD! , And bobs ur unce give it a lil wobble when u tug if that dosent work

Its all in the wobble, I tried this a number of times unsuccessfully, then included the wobble and - success

there is another way to do it as well.i took mine off my leon quiet easy.i unscrewed it then just pushed it towards the front of the car and it popped out mate then new one screwed back in hey presto.i had problems with it too though when i first got the car.but thats how i got mine out
