Hi all, have done a search but cannot find a definitive guide to removing the boot trim on my Mk IV.

I've got the old rear wash/wipe not working problem & it's the connector in the boot that is prime suspect (water dribbles out of the boot catch on the tailgate).

I have removed the two screws behind the rear lights (accessed by taking small plastic panels off) and a third where the inner handle resides but cannot find any more & the boot trim seems to be pretty well secure. Dont want to tear it off & wreck it!

Stealers want to charge £30 to do it themselves but would like to have a go myself as long as I can do it without damaging the trim.

Anyone have a definitive guide or am I missing something?

Cheers.

:)

Cheers for the link - knew there was one somewhere but couldn't find it. Didn't know about the 2 screws hidden near that catch either.

Thanks again!

No probs mate, it was the pipe connector that had come apart - back together now & all seems to be working AOK.

Thanks to all once again.
