Looking to remove my front bumper to do a few things to the car, so wondered how easy/difficult or fiddly job this was, and where are the clips/screws were located.

Thanks

Quite easy, main screws on top by bonnet release all the black bits are attatched to the bumper, under the car behind the splitter and wheel arch best to remove the arch liner then you can see the one on the guide profile which atatches the bumper to the wing, dont forget to unplug the fog lights. there might be some bolts in the foglight area i cant remember. if you need any help just ask.

I took mine off on monday, theres three bolts underneath the bumper that holds it on to the undertray, ping off the two caps that sit on the corners of the bumper and remove the two torx bolts, you have to take off the black grills on both sides, there held in by clips and a phillips screw then remove the two torx screws. Theres loads of Torx screws on both wheel arch liners so i took both front wheels off as i was rasing it on axel stands to fit my front mount. As phillc said theres two bumper guides one on each side, i found it easier to remove the bolts holding them in so they came off with the bumper (you need to pull both ends of the bumper out of the wings as the guides clip in) when i helped fit a front mount to my mates cupra r it was a pig to get the bumper back on and lined up properly on the guides, also put some tape around the corner of the headlights where it meets the bumper and on the front wings above the bumper just incase as its easy to catch stuff with it when the bumper guides are on the bumper as they have a thread that sticks out. Only problems i had was getting the gaps equal under the headlights apart from that its pretty easy.
