Removing Front Seat Badge

Has anyone removed there front 'S' Seat badge on their car before? Never thought of de-badging it before but wondered if anyone has done this before and is it easy to do?

paint it gloss black and the lines inside to match the colour of the car, a few people have done this, done mine gloss black with red lines. the badgeless grilles sometimes dont look "RIGHT"

Would be pretty goosed if i painted it and it didnt look right.
