Removing side light bulb

Hi,

I have been attempting to replace the side light bulb on the passenger side, and have removed all the covers, but am having no luck releasing the actual bulb holder... Is there a specific method to this, rather than just pulling at it, as the manual doesnt give much advice!
I have been trying for some time to remove it, yet I can't seem to do it by hand at least.

hello, it just takes alot of fiddling about, watch your arm on the side on the engine bay, sharp edges, i sliced myself wide open trying to change a sidelight bulb on my ibiza

use some long nose plyers took me 2 seconds to remove the bulb using em

make sure you dont pull at the wires, for obvious reasons. They tend to be well stuck in if they havent been out for a while.

yeah i changed mine the other night.
its a tight sqeeze but just tried pulling (the plastic holder not the wires) and eventually it popped out.

patience is the key i think, lost mine when i sliced my arm open on the side of the engine bay.bad news.

pull it mate, not the wires the bulb, if you cant get your hands in, use some long nose pliers....simples..
