I must agree with all you said
It is worth while , even if it is to save changing the filter every 20k miles
I priced up the OEM filter and it was just over £12.00
So at £28.00 it saves you money in the long run anyway

Should save a little on the next service ,as they won't need to charge any labour for changing it either. The trick is getting the dealer to listen to the instruction " don't change the air filter!"

Well take it to a speciallist , they will not invallidate the warranty and I think they will know more about the filter that is fitted other than a dealer
