You could pull it out if it's like the
Ateca one and read the serial number on the back. Might be the same. The
Ateca one is a sealed LED modules with the serial number on the back, if that tallies with what's on the thread there are upgrades available.
The
Ateca has the serial number
8J0 947 4098
I believe the 8 on the serial number isnt material and they are also found as 8J0 947 409.
It's used widely on VAG cars for boot and foot well lighting. The serial code will be printed on it.

An annoying one this, especially as the dealer I got the car from is 200 miles away! I’d noticed the lack of a boot light, and thought nothing of it, until air found out there was actually one. But mine wasn’t working. I’d also read it wasn’t very bright, so to kill 2 birds with 1 stone I bought...

(The thread dwells on a car with the wiring to it missing, but yours will be wired as mine was)
There is a chance it's the same unit.
@Bedlam upgraded their
Ateca one to a four LED unit. Just dont loose the lead inside the body when you pull it out. I recall I just used a screwdriver to pull it forward for the picture. That is the service point to get at it so the lead shouldn't fall off since its clipped to it.
I believe the company Bedlam recommends had the units fabricated to the standard (they say that), but I might have got the wrong end of the stick. You might need to take the housing apart and put the unit in that or it comes in its own housing. Bedlam would know since he replaced his. Worth extracting out of the panel, checking the serial number printed on it and taking a possible punt if it's the same. 4 LED unit Bedlam recommends if that's the case.
When I looked at it I was looking to replace a dim conventional bulb, found it was LED and stopped. Brighter upgrades were not available back in 2016/17 which they are now or wasn't aware off.
Failing the serial number being different, suggest you Google that for upgrades.
