Hi
Did a search all I could find was for a Leon with fancy seats.

What I wondered was if anyone could tell me a few things regarding changing the front seats in my Ibiza:

a) How to take the current seats out
b) How will I know what seats will fit
c) Whether anyone can recommend any decent seats / makes

Cheers

seats are easy to remove, remove small allen key bolt at front of seat in the middle, remove the caps on the runners, and the airbag connector and slide seat backwards out of the runners, 2 min job.

As for seats that fit, you could get some tailored subframes to fit existing mountings or fixed brackets and mount any side/base mounted seat, sparco, recaro etc

Best to go to car shop and try seats for size as some fixed buckets can be quite a tight squeeze

Cobra Misano's are by far the nicest seat I've sat in, don't think I'd want to do it for an extensive period of time, which is something else you have to consider.

The Daytona's I had in my Polo where comfy and you could still pick up fat chicks without them complaining :D

Matt done mine for me. You just need to find out which section it is in vagcom and change it from a 1 to 0
