Here it is guys. When i floor it in 2nd the car judders after around 3K revs and traction control light comes on and whole car vibrates.

tcs system on diesels is different to petrol i think diesels can't cut power like they can on petrols ,
cos they can't cut fuel and control sparks.

Diesel isnt drive by wire though is it?

it's crap on tthese cars whatever it is, so much more fun with it off.

in vehicles with front wheel traction the TCS lowers the engine power to stop the wheels spinning when u accelerate , this feature works at any speed in combination with the ABS , if there is an ABS breakdown the TCS stops working,
but it also says cars with ABS also have an electronic differential lock EDL, and if one wheel out accelerates the other by more than 100rpm , the brakes are applied to that wheel supplying more torque to the grippier wheel , ummm

and and when coming out of corners braking one wheel it seems, thats TCS , not ESP , its in the manual page 3.9 and page 3.11
so when you launch and it's too much
the tcs tells the ecu to cut the thottle (stop accelarating)
also to brake the offending wheel to slow it down to correct speed.
must use both. and when going round corner and wheel spins up it use the brakes to deal with it.
then if you start going out of line (understeer) the ESp activates to putit on line.

if you have ESP (no TCS or EDL i think) it brakes any wheels it needs in order to stay a SEAT
if you have TCS ( with free EDL) it cuts power -if in a straight line - open differential so both wheels would spin (i think), but if your pulling out of a junction -says up to 50mph , so probably corners as well it brakes the spinning wheel - would normally be the inside one , in order to keep it intact ,
