dont know, i dont have revo, i would assume so, you can get the stage 2 code put on withouth the stage 1, you just pay £600 odd quid instead of £500 odd quid
 
looking at your mods are you running a standard bosch valve? black and made of plastic? :D

i hit 21psi on spike no problem on stage 1

i thought it was the standard valve but timd and ibiza-cupra said its been changed as its metal/alloy and silver but i will post a link to what it looks like in abit 30 minutes just off to get me hair cut :D
 
yeah i wasnt sure Tim would let you go with revo and a standard dv. if it is alloy then thats ok, but if its whooshing like a hoe then its prob ****ed and you need to check the spring in the way that Dave said earlier to make sure its not leaking boost...plus doing this check also allows you to make sure theres no leaks around the dv
 
must be one of the lucky ones, every one with revo i have spoken to at meets dont hit 20psi untill they start messing around with their timing and boost settings, interesting

yeah some people do get abit unlucky but most of us in south wales have revo so its easy to compare, no boost leaks and a healthy maf though and its 20/21psi spike in every gear but 1st

only running HB4 or 5 i think as it was knocked down when my clutch was slipping and timing 6

Surely it would feel a bit different having something like REVO or Jabba on the car?

I suppose just see what you get on the Rolling Road Day and then see if its anything near expected results with REVO or Jabba

would it be worth it though????? £500 for revo/jabba for a extra few psi and few bhp??? might as well buy some more go faster bits and get a custom map imo (depending on what your RR results are)
 
Well i don't know whether it would be much different, I've still not driven a revo'd or jabba car. At the end of the day some one said they had an absolute remap and said it rolling roaded at 201bhp. A cupra R is 180bhp and boosts to 10 psi. I'm hitting just over 15 so i am hoping for around 185-190bhp?? Dyno lottery but i'm sure there'll be people who just have a remap at the rolling road day so will be able to do a comparison, I have taken off the pipercoss induction kit and that has made a difference!!!!
 
get on the forge website and ahve a look their, one of them on their will look like it, by what your saying though its the same a 007p (forge) but not, i had one of these on when i got my car, changed it streight away, didnt make any difference, just a piece of mind

fair enough you might be hitting them, i bet you are not running a k03 and i bet you have tweaked your settings, i was saying the standard map, on standard turbo, without touching the settings

EDIT: just read your sig, explains why you see more than others with a k03s
