I finally had the revo stage 1 mapped to my car late afernoon yeserday, and all i can say is i wished i had it done sooner. Its like driving the car when i first bought it, it goes like a bat out of hell. There is a hell of an improvement in 3rd and 4th gear, so much so i left my mate in his VXR Astra stage one standing coming off a roundbout last night. The thing which makes me laugh is, he got a £1500 exhaust system as well on the car, and iv still got my stardard one, he was not too impressed after, especially after i told him my remap only cost £367 as i got a 20% off my revo. Im not running full boost at the moment as i need a new Tip as the stardard one cannot take increased pressure, iv been told to get a THS one, but the waiting list is over 6 weeks long, so im in for a long wait:D:D

If you dont fancy waiting 6 weeks you could always go for the Forge or Samco TIP

We can do the Forge TIP for £118.46 inc VAT : generally Forge have these in stock, will be able to check availability for you Monday if you require one

Sorry to bring this up, but on the Golf mkIV.net forum (which I pop onto from time to time as I used to own one) alot mention pretty decent gains from just fitting a TIP - abit faster, more responsive and is louder apparently.

Is this correct then? TIPs don't seem to get much praise on the forum here ya see, other than comment of how the old one can deteriorate.

Cheers!

Don't know about faster, but mine felt more responsive and was a little louder...but did the airbox and 3" feed at the same time.

I fitted the THS TIP this afternoon and i agree it feels more responsive and the turbo is abit louder. Glad ive done it and only took an hour to do start to finish
