Right this car has dis heartened me since iv got it on the road. Iv had hardly any boost for the past 4 days now and think its in limp mode. Iv swapped DV to standard one, changed N75, checked around all the hoses and its still the same. Only thing i will try is a new MAF's and see if theres any change??

Its the most frustrating thing ever so if anyone can point me in the right direction id appreciate that very much so :D

Have you for vagcom mate and have you scanned it?

Check wires to N75. Could be the tiniest split in one of the hoses bud. Try and have a listen when the car is on idle for any hissing and go over it. I tightened loads of hoses on my car only a couple of weeks ago. Don't get disheartened you'll have it sorted soon enough and boosting fully again. Been there a few times with mine but never been anything major to fix/replace.

I haven't scanned it with vag com as I dont have it sadly mate. Just the common 17705 flags up on the LG :-\

I had a listen late last night and everthing sounds spot on, squeezed the pipes and they are all strong. Only thing I havent checked is the lower intercooler hoses as I might have disturbed one putting the bumper back.

Ill have another look tonight and update. You know how it is with these cars Tom, its hard to like em sometimes but when they do work.......

There is another rolling road event happening at AmD next weekend. It's for a different group, not a SCN one but I might be there. I could bring the laptop and scan the car for you.

Few things to check. Check the wires to the N75, make sure it is connected correctly. Then check the hoses connected to the N75, especially the one which goes to the actuator.

Check the lower intercooler hoses as it may be you have disturbed something but in my experience this wouldn't bring up the 17705 code.

Is your car mapped Rich? How is the car if you clear the code then start it back up?

17705 comes up on mine but am sure it doesn't have a boost leak. Might get my car leak tested again on Saturday at AmD as it does my head in and seems to affect how the car feels when it's showing.

Sorry for not replying EL and Tom. Iv done everything you two have told me and iv been checking over it again tonight. Iv finally cured it though, it was the upper right intercooler hose that wasn't sitting correctly. I did check this yesterday and tightened it up and it seemed ok, but i replaced it with the OEM one and also disconnected the MAFs and put it back and is now boosting lovely. The CM hose is a pretty bad copy and will get a forge on at some point.
Have to admit that it seemed to quick for standard so i towed it as you do and it hit just over 250bhp, so now i know its been mapped, but by who  i don't know. Ill get AMD to put a fresh map on it in the summer anyway.

Thanks for your input anyway im well chuffed right now :D

Really glad to hear that the niggles have been resolved and that you can finally enjoy some time on the road. I can't imagine how torturous it must have been sat on the drive for all those months! Sounds like it was well worth the wait!

Thanks mate! Its not been that bad seeing it sat on my drive all the time really. Iv loved working on it and also making it my own before it hit the road. They are such an awesome car (when they are working) and its going to be hard not to put your foot down all the time haha :D

That's a better update mate :) Glad it's a nice cheap fix.

Can't beat the forge hosing. Get what you pay for ultimately at the end of the day I don't care what bodge tuners say because buy cheap buy twice will always strike in the end. Poor products don't stand the test of time!

Be interesting to see what map is on it now. Main thing is your happy again with it once more! Now get ordering more parts :p

Apart from a new N75, which i think was on its way out anyway

Very true though about the hosing, some of the CM's stuff is good which is why i bought it but i might go to the forge side as you guys do :D

Will like to put it on the rollers and see but 250bhp isnt to bad considering it was mapped with nothing else done to it. Stop spending my money Tom haha. Exhaust is getting fitted early next week and will look at getting the wheels the following week.
Do you get turbo chatter when you change gear at all?? Its a lot louder than what my cupra was...

Well it's good to replace the N75 anyways mate, these do fail with old age so money well spent regardless.

Yeah I'm not knocking all their products, but generally I would go for Forge over CM with 90% of the stuff they do. It just fits better, is designed to work better and quality will be better.

Which exhaust you got to go on? Sorry if you've mentioned already, my brain is slowly dying from work lately!! I don't get chatter mate no, do you mean like a fluttering sound? I used to get a lot of noise from the air filter, but that has been reduced now I've got the forge cold side dv re locate kit.. but it's more responsive for it. What spring is in your dv? Is it a 007?

There LED's are pretty good lol

Dont worry mate i know what you mean with work. I went for resonated cobra turbo back in the end, been sitting in the car for ages now.
Yeah like the old supras and skylines have, does it mostly in 3rd and its frigging awesome :D I suppose you get more of the noise from the front of the engine now rather it being just infront of the cabin??
I put the green spring in thinking it was a standard map so ill put the yellow one in tomorrow night
