You're ahead of the game here mate.

I'm wondering if I get some if I can drop the car a bit lower again...

Woowwwwwww

Love this car mate, looks a lot better with the spring/suspension set up

Well done on the attention to detail, that must have taken some elbow grease

Got my Vredestein's fitted today but only on the fronts though. Will invest some rear ones at some point but the ones on there have plenty of tread left.
Anyway wheel spin has eased up and they seem pretty grippy, once iv done a few miles on them then ill update further but so far so good :D

As for coilovers, I could go a few mm down but I seem to be scraping anything and everything atm so will leave it for now

Been a while since I have updated. Nothing major with this one though. Most of you probably didn't know but last weekend Essex had about two months worth of rain hit in one afternoon, and while going through a lot of deep puddles I noticed water coming in into my passenger footwell. So decided to tackle the door seal yesterday which only took an hour as I have done so many in the past.

Anyway door card off

Old seal off

Under the speaker is always the weak spot

New butyl seal on

Next was the manifold cover which after many attempts and lots of P38 I finally managed to get it smooth. Finished it off in Black Skoda Magic which looks epic in the sun!

Finally the most important thing I have been busy on is my second refurb of my wheels, but with this attempt I really took my time on them and I think they have come out really well. So should hopefully last through the winter and next year I will get them professionally refurbed or even a new set of shoes??
Centre caps are also being ordered as well.

Results...

Players is only two weeks away and I have entered Show 'n' Shine, even though I don't expect to win anything its the first time I have entered any car I have owned into a show, so hopefully my efforts I have put into this car will be appreciated.

Just need to order my Forge upper intercooler hoses, front spacers and a few other little bits before Players.

Comments as usual :D

Looking really well Mate. Mines in the garage now and I'm slowly doing bits. Trying to get as much done before players.

Look well clean, I need to get some of these centering plates where did you buy yours? I see Creation Motorsport sell there own ones a bit cheaper than the ecs brand.

Thanks Paul, glad to see your getting back into sorting the car again. Players is going to be a good one!

Thanks mate, joy of having a red car. I got them from Awesome gti as I don't trust the creation motorsport ones as its not something you want to do on the cheap lol. £80 I paid which is worth it I think.

Roll on Players mate :)

Let me know if you want those spacers still.

Course I will Tom, ill drop you a text at the end of the week! Can't wait for Players now :D

Rich, did you have a guide when you fitted your honeycomb grills, or is it pretty self explanatory. Have I got to cut the old ones off and slot the new ones in, or is there more to it?
