If you are going to put it to me like that I wont make them available to you.Did Jabba give you your dyno plot on the back of a stamp? Unless somebody can make the images larger those pictures are useless to me.
I will have a go at making it larger tonight chris. Can't read it either.
Looks like a nice plot though.......just aint a clue on the figures.
It just goes CLUNK, off!
A great clutch though. Acceleration through the gears is awesome as shifting can be done really fast due to the lightweight singlemass flywheel.![]()
Silly question but did you not notice a drop in mpg and less torque due to lower mass inertia from the flywheel?
As im really wanting to go down the same route as yourself but I am abit reluctant as i dont want to have great acceleration if it means sacrificing cruising mpg as im currently acheiving 60+mpg at 85mph (on a private road of course) and i love big torque
Oh and what model is model clutch and single flywheel do you have fitted?
Thanks

I didn't really, no. I would say even if there were a 2mpg drop the performance of it is amazing and is a good price to pay for such gear changing speeds. I think mass inertia only really plays a part under engine braking. I do get good engine braking now. That's all pretty irrelevant though. I just love changing gear and being IN the next gear before the revs have dropped whilst the clutch is dipped down to that level. When I get it right I think I can shift up in around 1/3 of a second or less. The flywheel just makes it so easy.
I have SPEC's stage 3+ clutch (rated to 600 lb.ft at the wheels) and their matching 9lb ally flywheel.
60MPG at 85??? Think I need to take mine back to SEAT... I get no way near that!
Glynnd,
Did you ever get a decent image of your rolling road graph sorted out?
