Who could guess this was going to happen to a 20 years old car.... Right in front of the building, during the night, some motherf***** stole my car. My beloved Leon which has just reached some respectful 200.000km without major faults. How I loved my car. I'm really shocked because I live in a peaceful neighborhood.
I guess I should have mounted that surveillance camera that I was ages planning to do. Or the GPS tracking device or a Apple Tag. I guess I could have done more.
Let this episode remind us all that these cars are pretty desirable yet and should make us don't take a car as granted because thieves don't give a sh**!

Take care.

Im so sorry to hear this ☹
How did they get it started?
Did they get into your house for the keys?
Any of your neighbour's got any cctv or camera door bells?Heard anything from the cops yet?

Sorry again to hear this, very sad.

Gits. Hope you get it back & there's not much damage.

Gutted for you bud, as said hopefully you will get her back in 1 piece. Can't have nothing today without someone else wanting it.
Good luck with it all.

This is the worst news. It's bad enough when it's just a normal car, but when it's a car you've put the spanner work into and really cared for, it's so much worse.

Hope it can either be recovered, or that whoever stole it gets what's coming to them - preferably not while driving your car.

Yeah, the police also said it is dificult to get these cars started but it seems the OBD connection can start a car. Both keys are with me. They broke the door lock to pieces - I've found on the floor - and just took off.
Nobody saw anything, already asked to all. It's a quiet neighborhood and plenty of retired people who don't have CCTV and camera door bells unfortunately for me.... there is only one auto stand that might have caught something on camera but I couldn't reach the owner yet but I'll keep trying.

I agree. With so much tech around cars there's nothing more simple as secure like the steering lock bar. I'll definetly get one of those .

bad news there mate, I always lock the car with a crook lock one that covers the whole steering wheel, but that's crap man! When the cars in the garage battery is disconnected, keys upstairs with a anti snap lock on the door....and if it was started id defiantly hear it...hopefully you get the car back!
Ive worked at ppls houses where there car was rolled off the driveway

I cant believe the cops havnt caught it yet.
What country are you in(sorry, dont recognise your flag)?
Dont they have any high performance cars out there?
