I cant believe the cops havnt caught it yet.
What country are you in(sorry, dont recognise your flag)?
Dont they have any high performance cars out there?
Yes, it's the Cristiano Ronaldo country flag: Portugal. In fact, the police do have a Subaru Impreza and a special Nissan GTR but only for heavy crimes! Mine is a everyday scenario.

That sucks.
What part of Portugal?
I have family and friends there.
Will ask for them to keep an eye out. Post up a picture for me too.

Thanks for that, I really apreciate. I'll send you a PM.

So, meanwhile, to keep my head distracted it something else I started to consider another option has I probably will need to buy a car.
Do you have any thoughts about the Ford Mondeo SW 2.0Tdci (MK4 - 140hp) from 2006>2010? Any good?

Whenever I get a notification about this thread, I always hope for the best, but the police just don't care about these things like we do...

My dad had one of the mk4 Mondeos in the Titanium X trim, and while I can't talk about it from a wrenching point of view, what faults it might have etc. I can say that I drove it a lot, including some trips to Cornwall and back, meaning I spent a lot of time in the car, and I really liked it. It's not a Leon, but it's super comfy depending on the model you end up with - my dad's had the active suspension and it worked just fine in sport mode. If the satnav and various electronics work, it's a great car. Good power and it eats up the miles.

You can even fit a body comfortably in the boot.

The only thing I didn't like about it was that it felt huge. It's a really big car when you're used to driving a Leon, and I was never sure how wide the car was, especially when overtaking parked cars, and so I never felt totally comfortable in it. In time I'm sure you get used to that though.

Why dont you just steal a really nice car. Doesnt sound like you'll get in trouble for it.
Utter madness.

It's like the old joke - I prayed every day for a new bike, but then I realised it doesn't work that way, so I stole one and prayed for forgiveness.
