Guys we need some Mk2 Leons to attend this to compare against the likes of it's comptition..

Now then chaps and chapess'. As I know there is quite a few 1/4 mile fans on here, I thought I would take the opportunity to see if any of the SCN lot fancied joining us VW GTI boys @ Pod for a RWYB day on Sunday 1st Feb?
We have 34 of us lot going on last count, most of which are running and with it being a standard RWYB day (fairly quiet) there should be plenty of chance to get as many runs as you like in.. Most of our lot have never been to Pod, let alone run, so there will be no rivalry (as such , but a good friendly day out to admire and watch each others motors.
We have a mixture of GTI's going varying from standard GTI's to sub 400bhp ED30's, so a good mixture and I am also inviting the VXR, ST, Megane Sport and R32 boys too, so should be a nice mixture of Hot Hatches..
So if any of you guys fancy it, stick your name down and lets see if we can make it a cracking day out...

Good lads.. Nice to see a couple a Cupras coming.. Especially modded ones.. If you can stick your names down on the list (on other thread) so I can keep tans of numbers, i'd appreciatte it chaps..
As for the actual shootout itself, i'm still waiting to see what final numbers are coming first and will organise some sort of table etc nearer the time.. It's looking like there will be plenty in attendence though, from all the forums too..

I doubt that I can afford to go to this, but that's atm(due to manflu), things could improve over the next couple of weeks, if things do improve, I might make an appearance...

Track opens at 10am mate and most of us lot will be arriving at about 9am. So anytime around then really..
CTR owners are on the list already and one of the chaps I know of RSOC has posted it on there also, so yeah.. I have tried to keep it to around the 7-8 forums so to not get overrun with cars and affect peoples number of runs. But it's a public RWYB day, so anybody can come at the end of the day..
It will be a awesome day, I know that much and a good comparison of all marques in different stages of tune too. ie If you wanted to know how your mapped Cupra would fair against a stage 2 VXR, knows your chance to do it (in safe/legal condittions too..
