• Hey Guest💡👉 We have recently launched our new Dealer Directory and review service Find out more now
They might keep the car for two days but it won't be two solid days of work on the car.

As Kieran has already said, you're looking at a few hours to implement the software and associated adaptions.

No warranty as its a 2021 plate and when i spoke to them yesterday they were not helpful basically said its 2 days to do the TPI work
So im sure 2 days at a dealer is going to be a tidy sum of cash
Feels like a cost benefit analysis with @East Yorkshire Retrofits . You could ask your dealer for an estimate. Probably going to charge you a finders fee then the cost of doing it cited at 2 hours from above but ofcourse could multiple out to two days.

PS quick posts reply before I finish typing. :ROFLMAO:

Ah ok gotcha well lets see what the come back with if they ever come back to me.
Seemed more interested in servicing no thought process and £400 cha ching
£400 is ridiculous

We charge less than that for every single available software update performed here at the workshop. This still takes less than half a day

Could try a different dealer if the trip to Yorkshire is too far. These chain dealers if it's one of them employ jobs worth people since they aren't kept an eye on. Probably not jobs worth when employed, but turn into it as customer care falls. Should mention the dealer directory side of the site that's starting off.

Those surveys that do by Head Office after a service are designed to keep an eye on what's going on in the dealer network. Certainly when I spoke to customer services when I first bought my Ateca and their was a mis build issue. The head of the Seat side was fully versed in one dealership I'd had an unfortunate experience with. They have a liason manager with the dealerships who is the interface between HQ and the site. This one jumped when they were sorting out the deal of recompense for the misbuild. The build spec didnt tally with what the car was suppose to have. It's nice to have a unique car 😂. A few slipped into the country. The engineering is 100%.

Just to update everyone yesterday the car had an update pushed to it and resolved the primary user so now i have access to the online services which tbh are a bag of 5hite, I can now remotely lock the car for £129 a year.
Yes my wife has thrown me out of the house for spending money on something that is not worth a w@nk!
Live and learn fellas, live and learn!

Ah well you might get the coveted missing radio logos and you do get future firmware updates now. If an EV you can turn the heating on before you get in it.

They threw 10 years connect services in on the Tavascan so one poster said. Seemed worth having just to save the hassle.

For regenerative braking if it was on a new road it would know the road existed, so you'd say, funny it's not doing regenerative braking based on the roads geometry before the update. You get the map updates that you'd probably say you don't want and the ability to send destinations to the car... mind you I'm on old tech 😂. I'm waiting for mib5 as I say circa 2030.
