thanks for trying to help, but it's not easy. I have given up months ago...
garages here in Portugal are really bad and even SEAT couldn't fix it, I doubt most of the garages I went even tried though. then I staerted doing things myself but never found the problem.

only thing I found is the rack making weird noises sometimes, not noticeable while driving, but pretty noticeable with wheels of the ground and engine not running, an example of the quality of the garages here is that I went to at least 6, some more than once, and none of them even notice this...

To be honest with you garages in london are the same, most of the time they don't know what's causing the issue they just assume change this, if that doesnt work change something else etc.

Did you try greasing your steering rack? Inside black rubbers.

No the noise comes from inside the rack, I'm not trying to fix it right now, it's depressing to look at this problem without results for almost 2 years so I stopped.

I will wait for somthing to fail completly then I will know what it is. Just hope the pump doesn't fail first, I'm on the 3th pump right now...
