SEAT Ibiza BODYKIT (fitting issue)

Ive got a kit for my ibiza going to be sprayed on wednesday. One thing however is the skirts.

This is what they look like...

How the hell do these fit to the car. Presumably they mate up to the sill like the original cupra skirts but then what, they cant screw to the inside of the arch cos they dont actually go inside the arch? think ill have to take the original skirts off tomorrow and have a propper look but apart from glue only i cant see any other way... is it just me?

Yep, they're bonded on - the oem skirts are held on by clips along the sill and screwed into the arches

looks like ill tiger seal them on then, and maybe make a side plate to screw into the skirts and the sill at either end to make sure they dont move

so just 'why' are you removing the oem skirts for fitting these? are they the 'M3' style ones?

they came with the bravus body kit, not m3 have no idea what they are, just i think with the bravus bumper itll look daft with standard skirts. all getting sprayed on wednesday, coilovers are on order so it should all be ready for donny hopefully

I'd get the original skirts painted
