Seat Leon MK3 seats in Seat Leon MK2

Hi,

Just wondering if the seats from a Seat Leon MK3 2016 would fit in a Seat leon MK2 2008.

Has anyone made this modification? if so, any pictures?

I think this question has been answered. I'd like to know the opposite. The mk3 bucket seats are like hens teeth, so was thinking if the mk2 buckets would fit in the newer mk3. who knows.

Seems there is no definite answer to if they would fit or not, just wondering if someone has actually made this change.
