Service Parts & Costs

Hi folks

Can anyone give me a breakdown of parts required and their costs for a 40k service.
Trade costs would be great. Having a dispute over dealer pricing. Also what is the standard quote generally for the total work and parts.

I was looking at the dealer today and noted that their price for PD oil was £55 ish.

For a 40k I would imagine:

Oil
Oil filter
Air filter
Fuel filter
Pollen filter

Plus if it coincides with the right time period you'd have the "inspection service" too, and around 2 years it'd be a brake fluid change too.

My 40K cost me £326, but that included a refrigerant top-up and a bulb too.
Oil + fuel filters.
Pollen filter.
Air filter.
PD oil.
Labour was £165+VAT.

just picked mine up from the dealers from having its 40k service, supplied my own oil as i always do, had the brake fluid changed and bill was just under £240

I had 40k at stealers last Sept and paid £275 all in . Checked my receipt and parts were as in previous posts. If you can shop around other stealers as they don't all quote the same price though they should!

Yep mine would have cost around £240 / £250 without the refrigerant service and the bulb. I also shop around and drive quite a few miles for my services (Premier at Leek)- even with the cost of the diesel it works out cheaper than having it done locally around Nottm / Derby.
