only use v power now, the sticker on the fuel flap says 98ron on it so who am i to argue

After the first few tanks of standard fuel, I switched to V-Power, and have been on it since sept. I did see a slight increase in MPG, but to be honest, its not as if I recorded it scientifically, and driving style and tyre pressure probably had just as much effect. Still, for the extra quid or two that it is per tank, isnt really gonna kill you is it, at least for (alleged) peace of mind.

my re-map is set to run on 99ron petrol - so i will only use shell v max or tesco 99... on the odd occasion that i've had to use normal petrol the cars feels sluggish

Running mine LC on V-Power also after the re-map! even before actually! Best thing for performance cars, and would never go back to normal fuel!!

Is anybody running their cupra on shell optimax or BP ultimate?

If so have you noticed increased performance and/or economy?

Is it worth the extra few pence?

I see an extra 20-30 miles on Vpower / Tesco 99 so yes its worth it... less timing pull as well compared to standard 95 RON on a remapped car.

V-Power or Tesco 99ron. Both seem to perform as well as each other but I go to which ever station has the freshes fuel in it i.e. right after they fill the pumps back up.

It's price is still relative to other fuels, Tesco 99 is only a bit cheaper.

V-Power for me most of the time. But there is a tesco station in Teignmouth that apparantly has 99ron fuel as it is listed on a site it has but it still says 97 on the pump so not 100% sure.

Does anyone know if it should say 99ron on the pump?

Also when are Trago in Newton Abbot getting V-Power. It has said 'Coming Soon' for bloody ages!!!!
