Ok not sure this si the right place btu i guess its good info for the leon owners that entrust complete mupets.

as we discovered yesterday/thursday

my suspension looks like this.

so i drove up to B&Q (bearing in mind this has been around the nurburgring for 20 laps) so didnt think it was gonna fall apart.

I went in mind to buy a torque wrench cordless thingy, but ended up just buying a socket with grip to see if i could do it.

and went about the job of fixing it in the car park.

And i was shocked at what i found.

Completely split and rubbing away at the top mount.

the one on the left was bent all over and both have the shape of the nut pressed in the bottom, its shocking, !!!



But now without these in place i have no more bumps groans or anything, its perfect!



But just a warning.

make sure your garage has more than a brain cell between em.

unlike these chumps.

honestly i was so happy when i got back in the car i just cant be bothered.


no harm done and shes moving beautifuly now.


just want to make a post on here to warn people should anyone think of using them.

More confidence in fixing your car yourself now aswell.
How could they have thought this was correct??

word of mouth is everything to garages, im sure they wont be getting as much trade
and they dont deserve any work if thats what they do
