the exit pipes are slight larger than the standard but not sure what size.

No I don't live any where near you. I'll have to go back to the drawing board again though. Have you had any problems with the dreaded worms of corrosion under the lacquer?

Haha, I'm only playing mate. Go for what you like, personal preference is something you should stick to no matter what IMO :)

No problems with these so far mate. I've had them approx 2 months though, these were jonjay (Maz) old wheels off his hybrid TDi. They have been impeccably looked after and were always protected all year round, extra effort before the winter. They are coated up well for this winter and that was from when I bought them.

If you get them done at a reputable firm who take pride in wheel refurbs, and you protect the wheel and use wax/sealants. You'll be fine for quite some time.
