What did you clean it with dash? How did you do it?

All you do is pull or disconnect the plug connector and plug it back in about 10 times, the metals contacts will clean themselves and that should remove any oxidation. Few seconds job done!

I have a brand new 07 plate ibiza fr due in march, would it be worth my while doing the greasing straight off or leave it as is until it goes wrong?

Im sure i have answered my own question but im new to this so not sure if i might mess something up by doing this without there being a problem?

go ahead and do it straight away mate, better preventing oxidation than correcting it later
