Size and fitments of brakes....

Guys i know you have a large thread on brakes but i dont think it will answer my question.

I have a 2000 Polo gti and i want bigger brakes. Now nobody actually does an "out of the box" brake upgrade kit sooo i would like to try Cupra brakes!

Now i have found a set of brakes for a reasonable amount of money so i was wonder how much work you think swapping over the master cylinder etc is.

Also i need sized of the fitments on the brakes. for instance i have 4 hole 4x100 fitments on my hubs but i could change them if needs be :)

Any help would be fantastic :)

Cheers

cupra brakes need 17 inch wheels to fit under them if not you can try the audi tt brakes which are 312 disks or evn the fr standard brakes which are 288 but i dont know anything else that will help you you will prob need new hubs as well i would say!

Mk2 Golf G60 setup would probably be best. they are 280mm should fit behind the stock 15"s and are 4x100 IIRC the GTi has 256mm as standard so you will get a noticable incrase in leverage (about 10% more).
