Why go cheap? Is it for your car or your GF's? I prefer Liqui Moly TopTec 4200 5W30 or 5W40.

If its good oil I don't mind going cheap! Specification is much more important to me than a brand logo.
I was going to go for Fuchs Titan as its a decent fully synth 507 oil, but just noticed this and thought i'd see if anyone had used it.

That Liqui Moly seems popular in eastern markets. Never used that one myself. About the same price as the fuchs.

Just out of interest, the manual says 0w30 , but all the 507's seem to be 5w30.. does it make a difference?

..Not sure what difference it makes if its mine or my GF's car? If anything I would put better oil in that as it will NEVER get checked unless I do it and if it breaks I have to fix it!

Actually I agree but then again it would be easy Brownie Points for you for fixing it. Search ebay for this 300788943708.

If you have a cupra you shouldn't be using that stuff as its only VW 505. Fine if you have an FR/PD130, but the 160 needs 506 or better.

I'd get that changed before you put too many miles on it.

Well it meets all the specifications so it should be fine. Just make sure the oil is changed every 10k or less. Regular oil changes are more important than using a fancy brand of oil and then running it beyond it's service intervals.

I still prefer the Quantum Longlife III 5w-30 fully synthetic because I can get it from my local TPS for the same money as what you posted above. But if there's no TPS near you then fair enough.

Does it?
The link I saw said it was only 505 spec??

Or are you referring to the OP about the one I found? Sorry for the confusion.
