Whilst changing brake disks I noticed that the single screw that holds on brake disks has snapped!
I hadn't touched it up till then so god knows how it broke. It looks like the wheel and bolts are holding the brake disk on! I all I could think of to get it out and it really doesn't seem to want to drill out!
Changing my disks isn't urgent but I'm pretty certain this is something that needs fixing!
Any ideas as to how best get it out?

Run a drill through it, use an easy-out to remove it. Put copper slip on the new one to stop it rusting in the hole.
They are not completely necessary as the wheel and wheel bolts hold it on, it just aids the fitting of the disc. They are only a low torque of 25-30Nm.

any idea what size screw it is so i can replace?
the other side was a pathetic piddly thing so I'm guessing thats all it is

I had the same problem on my drivers side, found it when painting the calipers. 18p for the screw from the dealer, but mine was so rusted i couldnt remove the old one so just left it
