Looking for some help. Had my cupra ateca for a couple of months. Sos fault has now started to pop up when driving. Is there an easy fix before i speak to the main dealer?

Speak to the main dealer - software updates are needed and model updates are needed.

The easy fix is you hold onto the button or something that cancels it but the proper fix is as above. It appears a lot on Vag boards since they shipped out the units with a bug.

Good news until VW have a resolution is you can reset/clear the error by pressing and holding the red SOS button until the system starts to make a SOS call, then you cancel the call. This has worked 4 out of 5 times for me so far.

VW were first to get it sorted, Skoda then Seat. Replacement telematics box is what they do and some reprogramming. You probably got old stock.
