Hey, Been on the forum a few years now, decided I would put some pictures up of my car, Had a Polo G40 before this hense the name, and bought my car after looking around on here.

Heres what My Ibiza looked like when I bought it back in July 06'

Spec when I got it:

- Jabba Stage 1 Map
- Dynatwist Air filter
- Jetex 2.5" Cat back
- 20mm Spacers on rear
- Forge 007 Dump valve

I had it rolling roaded at dastek at this spec and it produced: 187bhp @ 5300 and 222lb/ft of torque @ 3100.

Like most people, I wanted more power, after about 6 months of owning my Ibiza I decided it was time to upgrade. The upgrades involved the following:

Heres how it looked after the following mods were carried out.

- K03S Turbo
- 4 Bar FPR
- Pro alloy FMIC kit
- Forge TIP
- Blueflame 3" DP and 100cell Sports cat
- Heatwrapping for the DP
- Star performance rolling road remap

At this spec it produced: 247bhp and 234lb/ft of torque

At Crail I managed 14.2 @ 101mph at this stage.

After this I bought and fitted:

- Inlet manifold Spacer gasket from Badger 5

Which I felt helped with heat soak, and lowered inlet temps.

Just to add, My car has always been run on Optimax then V-power

In between all this modifying, My car did have the following usual maintenance work done on it (always genuine parts) when I worked at a SEAT garage.

- T-belt and tensioner
- New water pump (plastic impellor) which I am a bit gutted about.
- New lower arms
- Arb bushes
- Coolant temp sensor
- MAF

Usual stuff Etc Etc Etc

My car stayed at the K03S spec as seen above for about a year and 9months or so. Meanwhile I had been thinking of wanting more and more power, I had my mind set on ball bearing unit as choice of the turbo setup, instead of the IHI choice.

Last September I took my car off the road, and began preparing it for fitting a Big Turbo setup, heres how it looked then.............(loads of pics)...........................

Rad fans out while I rubbed back rust and repainted the Cowlng (for new Rad going in while I'm in there)

Mean while The N112 and N249 were taken out along with Carbon canister and ditched for some nice wee resistors, and a new fuel filter was fitted.

Ok, now here is my car in its current Spec courtesy of BDM setup and what it now looks like:

- GT2860RS
- High flow manifold
- Walbro 255lph fuel pump with USRT wiring loom
- 550cc injectors
- Revo Stage 3
- C&C custom made 3" turbo back system, without centre box, 6" backbox, and 5" slash cut tailpipe (may change tail) but sounds amazing on boost.
- BDM charge pipe
- Custom TIP and Green Cone filter
- 3" MAF and Ibiza element
- BDM t-piece before TB for DV with silicon hosing
- Remounted FMIC
- Powercoated cupra wheels without centres (been done for ages tho)

All work carried out by me, my mate and my brother and Exhaust by C&C.

Hope you all enjoyed this build thread of my car, more to come this year including only SOME of this list.

- Apexi 60mm 2bar boost gauge (ordered already)
- Remove aircon pump (pipes are already out)

- BDM baffled sump (so I can do track days safely)
- Weitec Fully Adj coilovers
- Uprated ARB's
- Uprated clutch and flywheel (so It can handle the torque)
- Apexi boost controller
- New wheels (for brakes)
- Big brakes

My car is setup with MBC at the moment @ 1.1BAR so the clutch might hold up (so anyones guess what its producing, maybe 300 mark atm?) Its VERY fast though

And maybe more ridiculously my car is still on standard suspension and and standard brakes and Mintex Extreme pads LOL :D FUN FUN till i save up some cash.

Thats a great car mate, you should be pleased with it!
Seriously needs some brakes though!

Love the pic with the turbo next to the irn bru :D

Really appreciate the comments guys, pics have been a long time in coming, even had thoughts of not putting them up yet.

Yeh Alex it runs very well now, just keeping boost at reserved 1.1bar till I get an uprated clutch, use the car daily at the moment, so need to get to and from work.

Somehow I managed not to post up the progress pics till I was finished, but It did take a long time to upload, and get them In a decent order. There was more though.

As for brakes will prob be the usual Brembo setup + DS2500 pads (love the 2 piece discs, but muchos £££ need to see) could have done with them come K03S, Really need them now LOL.

As for wheels, I really want 6 Spoke MO compo's in anthracite, but maybe OZ super/ultraleggara if a cheaper set come up. Want to keep the red + grey theme going though.

R888's are defo on the cards for the likes of crail/knockhill, and a ATB diff will be there sometime in the far future ETC ETC. Want a cheap prob VW 2nd car to get this off the road ASAP also.

so thats what that is. what happens when you remove it? weighs so much more than I thought it would when taking it off the first time. Never knew what it was either...

Nice setup, she looks like a sleeper as well... I like it, good stuff! ;)

Nothing noticeable happened on any of my old cars when I moved the anti-vibration weight... short of adding a couple of kilos to my weight saving lists!
