Standard exhaust... how much?

Anyone have any idea how much a standard exhaust is (from the cat backwards?)

Should I get a "seat" one, or would a generic patern one be ok from my local motor factors? After reading the thread about them not lasting very long... its a pain I cant keep the shiny piper one

I think I am going to have to loose my Piper catback system... due to insurance....

Bosal make the original item so you might catch one from a local factors that is the same as original

The trouble with some non genuine ones is that there not mandrel bent and some of the bends are very restrictive.

Its for a 2003 Leon Cupra R.... Such a pain that the piper has to be replaced with some shitty mild steel rusty thing!..

I will go see my motor factors and see if they can get the bosal one in...

Why do you have to get rid of it? Does insurance not allow mods?

I may be interested in taking the Piper one off of yours hands though .

The policy I am looking at changing to doesnt allow mods... so the piper might well have to go

A standard system from the cat back -manufactured by Bosal is £219.27 inc vat not good!

I went with adrian flux and they haven't charged me for my mods, coilovers/arb/18" alloys and a remap, haven't fitted my exhaust yet though so that's not on the policy yet
