Steam from Bonnet LCR??? pls help

Hi guys need a bit of advice please..

Was driving around tonight, outside temp was 4.5* Went on a bit of a blast and it was raining too.. .and really cold. Pulled up at tesco for a spot of shopping and i noticed steam coming from the bonnet???

Is this normal ??? is water from the road ??

Any one else noticed steam like this ???

The steam is forming from any water u have on the bonnet or underneath as its gets very hot from the location of the turbo, i have it sumtimes, proberly nothing to worry bout

take a look on a wet tarmac when the sun is up in the springtime again. Same stuff different heat source. I believe I saw a Family Guy episode that mentioned this effect.. whats it called...:

i get it off the windscreen a lot where the cold washer fluid evaporates against a hot screen

if it's not so bad ya can't see and it's above not below the bonnet i wouldn't worry

The only time i had steam coming from my bonnet was when the coolant overheated 2 months after buying the car brand new (due to a leaky coolant hose). It may be worth getting it checked out by a garage.
