stops pulling quarter mile times

Ran the quarter mile at gti international today (black ibiza graphite oz`s)
managed 15.1`s and 0-60`s in the mid 6`s was quite annoyd with the quarter mile times as i had a leon cupra and ran a 14.9.

I know its roasting today would that have affected my time so much? had 3 attempts today.

I currently have a revo stage1, miltek cat back,forge 007p, and the old jetex filter.
what times have you chaps with similar specd cars ran?
also i noticed the car stoped pulling hard after 5000 revs is this usual.

Hi, tbh that sounds not to far off the mark to me with the spec you have especially if you are still running your stock smic, heat soak would have been a big factore for you if the weather was very hot, that would have an affect on the top end pull as well although the k03 is getting out of puff by 5k so it's fairly normal for power to drop off.
Also the surface is poor at brunters for sprinting and times are aroung .3-.5 of a sec slower than pod.

standard mk2s were running 2 secs slower on those times.

Saw so many cars wheel spinning and clutch burning today.

Heat soak sounds about right!

Im geussing a front mount will help with this?
my pal fitted one to his ibiza this just had a stag one map but he claimed the car felt slower and lost its punch once fitted.
Is there a cheaper quality alternative to the forge front mount as it seems quite exspensive!
before my ibiza i had a leon cupra which again was revo`d now i swear the ibiza feels a much faster car!
Am i right in thinking a chippd ibiza should be quicker than a chipd leon cupra (not cupra R)
also ive noticed some ngative feed back from people going to stage 2 am i wrong? is it worth it?

Pro Alloy are another manufacturer of FMIC, I think IbizaAlex still has one of these for sale in the classifieds. Wish I had gone this route instead of my Forge FMIC, but I got a good deal so cant complain.

ive got graphite oz`s on mine there was another one exactly the same
do you know how much the pro alloy one is? why is it prefferd to the forge one
